What Success Looks Like In This Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and application security. The candidate should also have practical exposure to AI/GenAI technologies and AI-assisted software development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and support scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
  • Participate across the complete SDLC, from requirements and design through deployment and production support.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and remediate SAST, SCA, and DAST security vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with Architects, SMEs, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure secure coding, performance, quality, and maintainability.
  • Integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into enterprise applications and identify opportunities for AI-driven automation.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, documentation, and developer productivity.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
  • Strong experience with Microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Docker.
  • Good understanding of application security, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Exposure to GenAI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and AI-assisted development.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI/OpenAI, Spring AI, or LangChain4j is preferred.
  • Experience with Azure/AWS and Agile/Scrum is an added advantage
