Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior PHP Developer role based in Kochi. The Senior PHP Developer will design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and web applications using PHP and related frameworks. Responsibilities include writing clean, reusable code, implementing object-oriented design patterns, optimizing application performance, and integrating APIs and third-party services. The role also involves collaborating with front-end developers and designers to build responsive, user-friendly interfaces, participating in code reviews, and ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards. The Senior PHP Developer will work closely with product and QA teams to troubleshoot issues, improve existing features, and support the full software development lifecycle from planning through deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, with deep experience in PHP and related frameworks. php resource with around 3 years exp who has worked with Postgres and MySQL. React experience also welcome
  • Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, including design patterns and clean architecture principles.
  • Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, such as working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integrating front-end components with backend services.
  • Candidates should possess comprehensive Software Development skills, including requirement analysis, application design, testing, and deployment.
  • Candidates should possess core Programming skills, with the ability to write efficient, maintainable code and debug complex issues.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL), version control systems (e.g., Git), and RESTful APIs is highly beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are expected.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with several years of experience in PHP development, is preferred.
