About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of development, architecture, scalability and production systems.

Location: Chennai (Onsite)

Experience: 2–6 Years

CTC: 15 - 20 LPA

Target Joining: November 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Build and ship product features end-to-end, from technical design through production.
  • Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
  • Contribute to frontend development using React and JavaScript.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
  • Take ownership of assigned features and drive them from development to deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with 2-5 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Strong programming fundamentals in Java and hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, backend development, and microservices.
  • Working knowledge of React and JavaScript.
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and software engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience building and maintaining production software and handling real-world technical issues.
  • Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to take features from development through production.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced product environment.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and their use in day-to-day engineering workflows.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
  • Experience working in a product/SaaS or startup environment.
  • Exposure to AI/LLM tools or AI-powered product features.
