SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA) Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and implement business process automation solutions using SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA).
• Develop workflows, approval processes, forms, decision tables, business rules, actions, and automations.
• Activate, configure, and extend standard automation content available through SAP Business Accelerator Hub.
• Analyze automation prerequisites including system connectivity, destinations, APIs, credentials, security roles, and configurations.
• Integrate SAP Build Process Automation with SAP S/4HANA, SAP APIs/OData services, and third-party applications.
• Develop and maintain RPA bots to automate repetitive and manual business processes.
• Configure and manage business rules and decision management frameworks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
• Perform testing, debugging, deployment, and production support activities.
• Troubleshoot workflow, integration, authentication, and automation-related issues.
• Adhere to SAP BTP development, governance, and security best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation, support materials, and knowledge transfer sessions.Required Skills
• Hands-on experience with SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA).
• Strong understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
• Experience with SAP Workflow Management, Business Rules, and Process Automation.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs, OData Services, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP security concepts including IAS, XSUAA, Destinations, OAuth, and Role Collections.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA processes and integration mechanisms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills
• Experience with SAP Build Work Zone.
• Knowledge of SAPUI5, Fiori, and JavaScript.
• SAP BTP and/or SAP Build Process Automation Certification.
• Experience in automation-led digital transformation initiatives.
