About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Business Application Developer to join our growing technology team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining business applications that streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency, and support business objectives.

The role involves working with databases, APIs, enterprise systems, and modern application development technologies to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain business applications to support enterprise workflows and operational requirements.
  • Build and customize application features, modules, and integrations based on business needs.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures using T-SQL.
  • Integrate business applications with ERP systems, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data processing workflows, application logic, and backend services.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform debugging, and optimize performance.
  • Ensure application security, data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Maintain technical documentation and follow software development best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to automate business processes and improve existing applications.
  • Explore and leverage cloud technologies, AI-assisted development, and intelligent automation where applicable.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years in Business Application Development, Software Development, or a related field.
  • Application Development: Strong experience developing, customizing, and maintaining business applications.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in relevant programming languages and application development frameworks.
  • Database Management: Strong SQL and T-SQL skills, including stored procedures, query optimization, and database design.
  • API Integration: Experience working with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and enterprise systems.
  • Business Systems: Exposure to ERP platforms, workflow automation, and enterprise application environments.
  • Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms and application deployment is an advantage.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
