Fullstack Developer
Job Description
We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer with serious backend engineering chops to help us build the systems that power our product. You'll own meaningful surfaces end-to-end. From system architecture design to the services running in production. This is a builder's role where you will work directly with founders, designers, and product in tight loops, and your code will be in front of users within days of writing it. We need someone who thrives in ambiguity and can take a fuzzy problem, design the right system for where we are (and where we're going), and ship it. You'll be on-call for what you build, and you'll care about it doing the right thing at 3 am as much as you do at 3 pm. Responsibilities: - Lead features, projects and products end-to-end, from problem definition to technical design, implementation, and launch. - Architect and ship backend systems - APIs, async workers, event pipelines, and the integrations that connect it all. - Work across the stack (Backend and Frontend) to ship features for customers. - Design for scale, reliability, and edge cases, and own what you ship in production, including being on-call. - Use AI-assisted coding tools as a force multiplier to ship faster without compromising quality. Requirements: - 3+ years of engineering experience, where you shipped to, managed and operated systems in production with real users. - Strong fluency in Python; you've built non-trivial backend services with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks, and can defend the tradeoffs you made. - Solid grasp of system design and async architectures. WebSockets, SSE, background jobs, message queues, and event streams are tools you've reached for and shipped with. - Hands-on experience with Docker, PostgreSQL (or similar SQL databases), and AWS or GCP. - Working knowledge of TypeScript so you can contribute to and debug the frontend when a feature requires it. - Edge case thinking, ability to build under ambiguity, and demonstrated ownership and initiative. - Experience being on-call for systems you've built. - Proficiency with AI-enabled coding workflows (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc. ) and you've internalised how to drive these tools to ship faster. Bonus points: - You've built integrations with third-party APIs and platforms. - You've built AI products or worked on AI-powered systems in production. - Experience with B2B SaaS. Company Summary Inventive offers a centralized hub for all knowledge sources. Clients can upload previous RFPs and relevant documents; integrate with their internal data systems, such as Google Drive, SharePoint, and more. They can upload Q& A from legacy tools or spreadsheets, and even add information from their websites. Inventive's AI content manager automatically detects stale, duplicate, or conflicting content across various knowledge sources. It ensures every response reflects the most accurate, up-to-date information so the proposals stay consistent, credible, and client-ready.
