Role Description

AlgoMetrics Solutions is seeking an experienced Part-Time Senior Data Analyst to support our growing data and analytics initiatives. This is a remote position suited for an experienced professional who can independently manage analytical assignments while collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.

The role involves analyzing complex datasets, developing data models, building dashboards and reports, and translating business requirements into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will contribute to improving data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytics processes while supporting the development of scalable data architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Data Modeling & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain analytical data models, dashboards, and reports to support business and operational decision-making.
  • SQL & Data Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyze large datasets.
  • Business Intelligence: Develop and maintain reports and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical methods, forecasting, and performance measurement techniques to evaluate business outcomes.
  • Data Integration & Warehousing: Collaborate with technical teams to improve ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and data warehouse structures.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical analytical solutions.
  • Documentation & Best Practices: Document analytical processes, maintain reporting standards, and contribute to continuous improvements in data quality and efficiency.Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, data transformations, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one BI platform, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, forecasting, trend analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and large, complex datasets.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern data architecture is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a part-time remote environment.
