Requirements Management Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Requirements Engineer to support Product Development by managing engineering requirements, improving requirements quality, and collaborating with engineering, project management, and Information Technology (IT) teams to develop internal software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and maintain system and capability requirements in collaboration with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle using requirements management tools such as Codebeamer, including traceability, change management, and gap analysis.
• Apply Systems Engineering best practices, including INCOSE and EARS principles, to improve requirements quality, consistency, and completeness.
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to translate requirements into actionable development backlogs, support sprint planning and prioritization, and clarify requirements throughout the development process.
• Support requirements validation and verification activities, including test planning and test case development, to ensure that solutions meet specified requirements and project objectives.
• Develop and maintain integration requirements and data models to support effective integration of engineering systems and software solutions.
• Promote the effective adoption of Systems Engineering processes, requirements management practices, and supporting tools across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering, product design engineering, software requirements development, or a related field.
• Knowledge of requirements development, management, traceability, validation, and verification processes.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as Codebeamer, IBM DOORS, or Jama.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
