Role Description This remote Web Development Specialist internship focuses on supporting the ongoing development and optimization of FitRezume’s web platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end features, improving user interfaces, and ensuring responsive, accessible design across devices. The role also involves contributing to back-end development tasks, such as integrating APIs, optimizing performance, and maintaining secure, scalable web services. Interns will collaborate with product, design, and engineering team members, communicate progress clearly, and assist in troubleshooting issues reported by users. This internship provides hands-on experience in building and enhancing a real-world, AI-driven web application.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive Web Design.
  • Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development capabilities, such as working with server-side frameworks, APIs, databases, and performance optimization.
  • Candidates should possess foundational Web Development knowledge, including version control (e.g., Git), debugging, and familiarity with modern web architectures.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting work, and providing status updates.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue), understanding of UI/UX principles, exposure to cloud platforms, and an interest in EdTech or career-tech products.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
