Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for the end-to-end functional and technical ownership of the enterprise Promotions platform. The role combines product understanding, solution architecture, engineering leadership, retail-domain expertise, production reliability and stakeholder management.

The role serves as a key link between business requirements, customers, Product, Development, QA, POS, POS Backoffice, Support, Infrastructure and Database teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Must have experience managing a team of 4 -5 members.
  • Must have strong experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Java development, and retail-domain applications.
  • Must possess hands-on technical expertise in Java, Drools, Hibernate, REST APIs, and database optimization.
  • Must be capable of troubleshooting complex production issues, performing root-cause analysis, and improving application performance.
  • Must ensure high-quality releases through effective collaboration with QA, Development, Product, Support, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Should be proficient in AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and VS Code to accelerate development, testing, and code reviews.
