Python/Django Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Python/Django Full Stack Developer to develop and modernize legacy Oracle Forms applications into modern web-based applications using Python, Django, and frontend technologies.

Experience: 4–6 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
• Analyze and implement business logic in the new application.
• Build REST APIs and integrate backend services with frontend components.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Angular.
• Understand Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL for data access and business logic integration.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with technical leads, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Support application deployment, production releases, and issue resolution.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS/Bootstrap, JavaScript, and JQuery.
• Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Git, and automated testing.
• Understanding of application architecture, security, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to AI tools like Co-pilot & Claude Code

Preferred:

• Experience in Oracle Forms to Python/Django migration.
• Knowledge of legacy application analysis and business logic conversion.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
