Lead Data Scientist_8+ years

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Scientist to lead end-to-end AI and analytics engagements, develop advanced machine learning solutions, and drive data-driven business outcomes. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with team leadership, client management, and strategic problem-solving skills.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end data science and machine learning solutions for complex business problems.

Develop predictive models using machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques.

Lead AI and analytics projects across domains such as Retail, Pharma, Banking, and Insurance.

Define data science strategies, technology roadmaps, and scalable implementation plans.

Manage and mentor data scientists, allocate workloads, and ensure timely project delivery.

Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

Oversee project planning, effort estimation, execution, reviews, and quality audits.

Drive internal product development and contribute to pre-sales and business case development.

Build strong client relationships and ensure stakeholder expectations are effectively managed.

🔹 Required Skills

Strong programming experience in Python, R, SQL, NoSQL, and Spark.

Hands-on experience with Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and NLP libraries.

Strong understanding of statistics, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics.

Expertise in machine learning algorithms, including Random Forest, SVM, Decision Trees, Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, PCA, and K-Means Clustering.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of large-scale data processing and distributed computing.

Experience designing AI/ML solutions for structured and unstructured data.

Strong leadership, project management, client engagement, and communication skills.

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading end-to-end AI and analytics programs.

Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable data science solutions.

Experience in team management, technology strategy, roadmap planning, and stakeholder management.

Exposure to pre-sales activities, effort estimation, resource utilization, and business development support.
