SCOPE- Cross-platform, end-to-end AI product

About The Role

Renegade is hiring an AI Product Manager to own the AI product roadmap across both of our platforms. You will define the AI strategy, prioritize the agent and AI feature backlog, work with engineering and design to ship, and measure impact against business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy. Define the AI product vision and roadmap across both platforms. Align the roadmap with company priorities and review quarterly.
  • Discovery & Requirements. Identify highvalue AI use cases through user research, data analysis, and operational input. Write PRDs with clear success criteria, scope, and acceptance tests.
  • Roadmap & Prioritization. Maintain and prioritize the AI backlog. Sequence work based on impact, dependencies, and effort. Communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
  • Delivery. Partner with engineering, design, and the project manager to ship. Lead sprint reviews, unblock teams, and maintain delivery cadence.
  • Model & Vendor Decisions. Make buildvsbuy decisions for AI capabilities. Evaluate foundation models, vendors, and tooling. Manage relationships with AI providers.
  • Quality, Evaluation & Usage Metrics. Define accuracy, performance, and quality benchmarks for every AI feature.
  • Approve golive based on evaluation results. Own usage metrics for AI features in production — adoption, frequency, retention, outcomes — and drive iteration.
  • Stakeholder Management & Rituals. Run the weekly product review with stakeholders. Communicate roadmap, progress, and outcomes to leadership and cross-functional

teams. Translate AI capability and limitations for non-technical audiences.

  • Compliance & Risk. Partner with Legal and Compliance on regulatory, E&O, and data privacy considerations for AI features. Define guardrails for autonomous actions.
  • CrossPlatform Coordination. Coordinate AI workflows that span both platforms with the peer PM and engineering leads.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years shipping AI/ML products in production
  • Hands-on AI Builder: comfortable prototyping end-to-end AI workflows independently using tools like Cursor, Replit, v0, Claude, and modern LLM SDKs
  • Advanced prototyping skills — able to go from idea to working demo without waiting for engineering
  • Strong eval craft: experience designing golden datasets, offline evaluation harnesses, and online quality monitoring for LLM-based features
  • Strong technical fluency in LLMs, agentic patterns, prompt engineering, and model orchestration
  • Experience writing PRDs, running discovery, and managing a backlog
  • Proven ability to ship and iterate based on production metrics
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Insurance domain experience preferred but not required

Interview Process

  • Round 1 — Case Study. Take-home case study on a Renegade AI product problem.
  • Round 2 — Live Case Study Discussion + Raise the Bar. Walkthrough and discussion of your case study submission,
  • followed by a Raise the Bar interview with a cross-functional panel.
  • Round 3 — Technical Interview. Depth on LLMs, evals, prototyping, and agentic system design.
  • Round 4 — Culture Fit. Conversation with leadership on working style, ownership, and alignment with Renegade''s operating principles.
