Position: Web Design and Development Specialist

At RoseDsigns, we're looking for a creative, motivated and committed individual who enjoys working with websites, exploring new ideas and growing as part of a team.

Experience Required: Minimum 1–2 Years

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining visually appealing, responsive and user-friendly websites.
  • Creating web pages using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery and JavaScript.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop wireframes, web layouts and creative digital solutions.
  • Using Adobe Photoshop to design and edit images for web use.
  • Updating, maintaining and improving WordPress and other CMS-based websites for different brands.
  • Implementing SEO strategies to improve website visibility, search rankings and overall performance.
  • Optimising website speed, responsiveness and functionality across different devices and browsers.
  • Supporting code deployment and development on PHP and WordPress websites when required.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving website performance, visual and layout issues.
  • Maintaining design consistency and brand standards across web projects.
  • Collaborating with our creative team on website improvements, content updates and digital campaigns.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in website design, development and SEO.
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with WordPress, MySQL, jQuery, CSS3 and HTML5.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, WordPress and other Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Experience implementing WordPress development best practices and delivering quality web projects.
  • Ability to troubleshoot WordPress performance and functionality issues.
  • Experience working with WordPress at the PHP code level.
  • Knowledge of WordPress website security best practices.
  • Experience creating custom post types and integrating WordPress themes and templates.
  • Familiarity with installing, configuring and using plugins for contact forms, SMTP, social media integration and SEO.
  • Experience creating and managing multilingual websites.
  • Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of Google Search Console and Chrome Developer Tools is an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and SEM practices.
  • A good eye for design, attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication, teamwork, commitment and a willingness to learn and improve.
