Building WAMI Media, a district-first digital information platform under Dzentral Media Private Limited, with a vision to make trusted local information, opportunities, businesses, and public services more accessible to people across India.

Our journey starts in Udupi, Karnataka, with a bigger ambition to build a scalable district-level digital platform for Bharat.

Now, I’m looking for a committed Co-Founder who wants to build this company for the long term, rather than simply work on a short-term project

What are we building?WAMI aims to connect people with the information and opportunities that matter in their everyday lives.

Our initial focus includes:

  • WAMI Media — District-level news, local stories, and public information.
  • WAMI Business — Helping local businesses become discoverable and connect with nearby customers.

Who am I looking for?I’m looking for someone who brings more than technical skills or a job title. I want a partner who is willing to take ownership, make decisions, solve difficult problems, and grow with the company.

Depending on your strengths, we could explore a co-founder role in areas such as:

  • Technology & Product: Building the product, defining the technical architecture, and leading product development.
  • Business & Growth: Customer acquisition, business partnerships, revenue generation, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Media & Operations: Content strategy, district-level operations, contributor networks, and audience development.You do not need to fit every category. What matters most is complementary expertise, execution ability, integrity, and commitment.

What does the opportunity offer?Equity participation: A meaningful equity stake may be offered based on the role, responsibilities, experience, commitment, and long-term contribution.

Ownership: The opportunity to help shape the company's strategy, product, and future.

Long-term partnership: We want to build with people who share the entrepreneurial journey and are committed to creating lasting value.

Please note that this is an early-stage startup opportunity. Equity, responsibilities, decision-making authority, and any compensation arrangements will be discussed transparently before an agreement is made. Equity is not guaranteed merely by expressing interest.
