We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join and help build robust, scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our growing data needs and software application development.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

Optimize and manage data storage solutions, ensuring efficiency and security.

Work closely with data analysts and scientists to support data-driven decision-making.

Develop and implement data models to enhance data quality and accessibility.

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues.

Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

Previous experience in software application development.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.

Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).

Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, etc.).

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Front-end application development experience preferred.

Experience with real-time data processing frameworks (Kafka, Flink, etc.).

Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of machine learning workflows and MLOps practices.
