GIS capabilities are an integral part of Ramboll's impact assessment, environmental review, site evaluation, due diligence, and sustainability services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct spatial analyses including environmental constraints mapping, land-use assessment, accessibility studies, socio-economic profiling, cumulative impact assessment, climate risk screening, and site suitability analysis.
  • Integrate environmental, social, infrastructure, demographic, regulatory, and satellite datasets to support project planning and decision-making.
  • Support project teams in site selection, alternatives assessment, permitting, due diligence, stakeholder engagement, and impact assessment studies.
  • Develop and maintain web GIS applications, ArcGIS Online solutions, dashboards, and interactive mapping tools.

  • Support biodiversity screening, critical habitat assessments, social baseline studies, climate risk assessments, and ESG due diligence through geospatial analysis.
  • Prepare maps and geospatial deliverables for technical reports, client presentations, lender reviews, and regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with environmental, social, biodiversity, health & safety, climate, and sustainability specialists in multidisciplinary projects.
  • Contribute to proposal preparation, methodology development, innovation initiatives, and business development activities.
  • Mentor junior GIS analysts and support the development of GIS best practices and workflows.
  • Ensure all GIS deliverables adhere to organisational GIS standards, data governance requirements, cartographic guidelines, metadata standards, and quality assurance processes. Promote consistent use of approved ArcGIS workflows, templates, symbology standards, and enterprise geospatial services across projects.
