About the role

We are looking for a WordPress Developer to support website development and maintenance across accounts. The role involves building responsive web pages, implementing approved website requirements, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality website experience. You will work closely with the design and project teams to bring website requirements to life.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain WordPress pages, templates and reusable components.
  • Translate approved designs into responsive website experiences.
  • Customize themes and implement suitable plugins based on project requirements.
  • Support content updates, forms and approved integrations.
  • Troubleshoot layout, functionality and compatibility issues.
  • Improve page performance and follow agreed accessibility and technical SEO requirements.
  • Test changes across relevant browsers and devices.
  • Follow version control, staging, backup and release processes.
  • Maintain clear documentation and coordinate delivery with the project manager.

What we’re looking for

  • Hands-on WordPress development experience with a relevant portfolio.
  • Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Experience with theme customization, plugins and responsive development.
  • The ability to investigate plugin conflicts and website defects.
  • Familiarity with Git and staging-based development workflows.
  • Attention to quality, maintainability and delivery timelines.
