Owner
Role Description The Owner role at LearningPad is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune District, responsible for overseeing the strategic, operational, and financial performance of the organization. The Owner will define and refine the company vision, set long-term goals, and guide product and market strategy for immersive learning solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing key partnerships and client relationships, and ensuring smooth delivery of solutions to schools and institutional partners. The role also involves overseeing budgets, investments, and resource allocation, monitoring business performance through data and dashboards, and driving continuous innovation in 3D, AR, AI, and LMS offerings. The Owner will represent LearningPad in external forums, nurture an inclusive culture, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in building, leading, or owning an education technology, SaaS, or digital product-focused business, preferably in K-12 or learning solutions.
- Strong strategic thinking, business planning, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate a long-term vision into actionable roadmaps.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management, stakeholder alignment, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment.
- Knowledge of or strong interest in immersive learning technologies such as 3D content, AR/VR, AI-based assessments, and learning management systems.
- Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and working with investors or key partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with schools, publishers, partners, and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Education, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune District and travel as needed to meet clients, partners, and stakeholders.
