Role Description The Entrepreneur at NHAI will identify, develop, and drive new initiatives, projects, and business opportunities that support the organization’s infrastructure and service goals. Responsibilities include analyzing market and policy trends, preparing business proposals, and designing models that enhance operational efficiency and public value. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and government stakeholders to pilot and implement innovative solutions in highway development, tolling, services, and related domains. The Entrepreneur will monitor project performance, manage risks, and recommend adjustments to ensure sustainable outcomes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in business development, opportunity assessment, and strategic planning, with the ability to translate ideas into practical projects.
  • Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and financial modeling to support evidence-based decision-making and project proposals.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and performance monitoring.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, public policy, or a related field.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Greater Delhi Area, manage multiple initiatives, and adapt to a dynamic public-sector environment.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure, transportation, or public-sector projects is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on socially impactful and sustainable solutions.
