Supply Chain Analyst
How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain Center of Excellence (CoE) team. In this role, you will build and maintain data applications, analytics tools, and reporting solutions on AWS to support supply chain decision-making. You will work closely with procurement category teams and cross-functional stakeholders to develop data-driven applications that improve visibility, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
If you have a passion for data-driven decision making, a strong background in supply chain analytics, reporting, and master data management, and are looking for an opportunity to work in a high-performing team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AWS-based data applications and analytics tools supporting supply chain functions, including spend analysis, contract lifecycle management, and supplier performance tracking.
- Build and manage data pipelines and integrations using AWS services (Lambda, S3, Glue, API Gateway, Bedrock, etc.) to connect internal and external data sources.
- Manage application source code using GitLab — maintain branching strategies, submit and review merge requests, enforce code quality standards, and support CI/CD pipeline configuration and troubleshooting.
- Support master data management activities including taxonomy, vendor-parent mapping, contract metadata, and spend cube maintenance.
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, or Quick Sight) for portfolio analytics, project benefit tracking, and contract lifecycle reporting.
- Assist in sourcing analytics including total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling, what-if scenario analysis, and RFP bid analysis.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets for actionable business insights.
- Collaborate with category managers and stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into scalable application features.
- Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to identify trends, build predictive models, and support data-driven procurement decisions.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle of analytics applications — from requirements gathering and design through testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Utilizes industry-leading standards for working with large datasets to extract meaningful business information using statistics, machine learning, and heuristics. Continually seeks out opportunities to learn new and hone existing technical skills (e. g. writing SQL/code, statistics, machine learning, etc.)
- Prepares data comparisons to establish cost impact of sourcing options as part of the strategic sourcing process and assists with the sourcing process as required.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, application development, or a related field; supply chain or procurement experience is a plus.
- B.Tech /B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline; MBA with a technology or operations focus is a plus.
- AWS certification (e.g. AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate) would be an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Glue, API Gateway, Bedrock, CloudFormation, or CDK preferred).
- Strong SQL skills; experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, or application development.
- Experience building BI dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or Amazon Quick Sight.
- Familiarity with REST API development and data integration patterns.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in GitLab including version control, branching strategies, merge requests, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative code review workflows.
- Experience with MS Fabric, SAS, or similar data preparation tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of supply chain, sourcing, or logistics/corporate travel/airport customer service domains is a plus.

- Ability to work in collaborative environments and embrace diverse perspectives.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, express thoughts and ideas effectively, and embrace cultural differences with respect when engaging with others.
- Ability to engage effectively with peers and stakeholders to build strong partnerships.
- Prioritize, maintain focus, and consistently deliver commitment.
- Proactively understand customer expectations and willingness to create customer-based solutions.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
