Lead Software Engineer

Strong hands-on experience across the Power BI ecosystem, with current expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

Expert in data modelling, including dimensional modelling, semantic models, relationships, and best practices.

Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query for complex data transformations and business calculations.

Proven experience in developing interactive, enterprise-grade Power BI reports and dashboards.

Strong expertise in Power BI performance optimisation, including DAX, data models, queries, and report performance.

Experience with AI/GenAI integration and AI capabilities within the Power BI ecosystem.

Strong SQL skills and experience working with enterprise data sources.

Good understanding of Power BI Service, workspace management, refreshes, security, and deployment practices.

Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to understand business queries and translate them into BI solutions.

Confident in conducting business demos, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs.

Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to offshore Power BI developers.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric/Azure data platforms and relevant Power BI certification will be an advantage.
