The role ensures that regulatory- and process-driven changes are delivered within applicable GxP, compliance, data-use and data-access requirements and within strategic and financial guardrails agreed with the Product Manager in line with Tech leadership direction. - Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring epics, features and user stories are well defined and supported by relevant data on value, users, cost, risk, dependencies and process impact.
- Use AI tools to draft requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and summaries of stakeholder input, and have the output reviewed before it enters the backlog.
- Make backlog prioritisation decisions based on value, cost, risk, business continuity and resource capacity, escalating strategic trade-offs in line with the agreed RACI.
- Lead refinement, demonstrations, acceptance and release decisions and maintain clear traceability from business outcome through requirement, test and delivered change.
- Drive operational readiness using a structured checklist covering support model, training, continuity, configuration, runbooks, release notes, validation evidence and user onboarding.
- Define and maintain the product performance dashboard, tracking adoption, process outcomes, cycle time, stability, defects, user experience and support effort.
- Support Architects in assessing design options and manage cross-product dependencies, interface impacts and release sequencing.
- Build working knowledge of the ePI platforms and, with guidance, identify straightforward improvement opportunities, such as regulatory-change automation, and flag them to the Product Manager for assessment.
- Act as an escalation point for the product team and business users on functional product issues and guide resolution within agreed guardrails.
- Coordinate supplier delivery and hold external partners accountable for quality, documentation, knowledge transfer and product outcomes.
- Promote agile, iterative, value-driven and data-led delivery and use feedback and performance insights to continuously improve the product.
