Software Development Engineer II
Job Description
We are looking for an SDE II (Python) to build and maintain scalable backend systems. You will work on system design, develop APIs, and contribute to high-performance applications while mentoring junior engineers. Responsibilities: - Design and develop scalable backend systems using Python. - Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. - Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams. - Participate in system design and architecture discussions. - Optimize applications for performance and scalability. - Debug production issues and ensure system reliability. - Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews. Requirements: - 2-4 years of experience in software development. - Strong proficiency in Python (OOP, async programming). - Experience with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI. - Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems - Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of Git, messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and testing frameworks. - Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset. Nice to Have: - Experience with event-driven architectures and JAVA. - Knowledge of system design (HLD/LLD). - Exposure to ML pipelines or AI systems. - Contributions to open-source projects.
