Role Description The Senior Software Engineer will work full time on-site in Kanpur, leading the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and core application components. Responsibilities include writing high-quality, scalable code, reviewing code from other engineers, and refactoring existing systems to improve performance and reliability. The role involves collaborating with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, implementing APIs and data models, and troubleshooting complex production issues. The Senior Software Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and help define best practices for testing, deployment, and documentation.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming across modern languages and frameworks.
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and application performance optimization.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Experience with version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to analyze complex technical problems and deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience guiding and mentoring other engineers.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
