Role Description This full-time Java Full Stack Developer role is based in Chennai in a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with some flexibility to work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based backend services and responsive web frontends, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. The role involves building and integrating microservices, participating in code reviews, writing unit and integration tests, and troubleshooting production issues. The developer will collaborate closely with architects, QA engineers, product owners, and other developers to refine requirements, implement features, and improve system design. The position also requires documenting technical solutions, optimizing existing code, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong software development skills, including proficiency in Java-based programming and experience with full stack application development.
• Hands-on experience in Java 8 and above
• Practical expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining microservices architectures, including RESTful APIs and service integration.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and clean coding practices to create maintainable, extensible, and testable software solutions.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies (such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and a framework like React) is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work in agile teams, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
