Role Description

The E-Commerce Marketplace Manager will handle day-to-day tasks including managing marketplace operations, driving sales strategies, analysing performance metrics, negotiating with marketplace partners, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders. This role calls for a proactive professional to enhance the company’s e-commerce footprint.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, Fashion Management, or related field
  • MBA (Marketing / E-Commerce / Operations) – Preferred but not mandatory
  • Relevant certifications in E-commerce, Digital Marketing, or Marketplace Management will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements

  • 5–9 years of hands-on experience managing marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Messho, Ajio etc.)
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, GMV, and profitability
  • Experience handling a Listing Team or cross-functional coordination
  • Strong understanding of Marketplace algorithms
  • Sponsored ads & campaign management
  • Pricing strategy & competitor analysis
  • Account health metrics (returns, cancellations, ratings, penalties)

  • Experience with inventory planning & stock forecasting
  • Understanding of product catalogue optimisation
