Role Overview

Nimbus Consulting is looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in Retail, CRM and Customer Engagement to support an enterprise transformation project for our client.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Oracle Fusion CX/CRM implementation experience, a strong understanding of retail business processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.

This is a functional consulting role, focused on business processes, requirements, solution design, configuration and implementation rather than technical development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Functional SME for Oracle Fusion CX/CRM, supporting solution design, configuration and implementation.
  • Work closely with retail business stakeholders to understand requirements across CRM, customer engagement, loyalty and omnichannel operations.
  • Conduct requirements-gathering workshops, business process mapping and fit-gap analysis.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs and configuration requirements.
  • Support CRM processes covering customer profiles, customer lifecycle, sales, service and customer interactions.
  • Define functional requirements for loyalty programs, rewards, promotions and customer retention initiatives.
  • Work with technical and integration teams to ensure CRM processes integrate effectively with POS, eCommerce, Oracle Retail and other enterprise systems.
  • Prepare functional documentation, process flows, test scenarios and user acceptance criteria.
  • Support SIT, UAT, data validation, issue resolution, go-live and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, technical consultants and business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with retail business requirements.Mandatory Requirements
  • 8+ years of overall experience in enterprise applications, functional consulting or business transformation.
  • Strong hands-on functional experience with Oracle Fusion CX / Oracle CRM.
  • Retail industry implementation experience is mandatory.
  • Experience in Oracle Fusion CX/CRM configuration, requirements analysis, functional design and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of retail customer management, customer engagement and omnichannel business processes.
  • Experience working with CRM integrations involving POS, eCommerce or other enterprise retail applications.
  • Ability to independently conduct business workshops, prepare functional specifications and support testing and implementation.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working directly with business stakeholders.
