Overview:

We are seeking a GHG Emissions Analyst to join our Climate Change and Sustainability team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed research and analysis of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for both public and private sector clients, with a focus on data accuracy, effective communication, and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct quantitative analysis of GHG emissions using Excel-based tools and models.
Visualize data to effectively communicate emissions trends and reduction opportunities to stakeholders.
Draft clear, concise, and technically sound reports to support sustainability disclosures, inventories, and policy recommendations.
Design and deliver training sessions on GHG emissions accounting, decarbonization strategies, and relevant policy frameworks for government officials and industry professionals.
Conduct research on carbon markets and provide strategic guidance to organizations on setting up eligible carbon offset projects or purchasing credits to meet climate targets.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and visualization.
Background in environmental science, sustainability, climate studies, or related fields.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with national and international GHG accounting frameworks (e.g., IPCC, GHG Protocol) is an asset.
Interest in contributing to policy dialogue and awareness initiatives around climate action.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in this domain.
