We're building Suman, an app (Android, iOS and web) that helps Indians with burnout, family pressure, log kya kahenge and everything in between. So we're not going to pretend hiring you is about "synergy."

Here's the truth: we're a team of people who give a damn. Suman is a personal wellness companion that actually speaks Hindi, Hinglish and English, and gets your stress without judgment. We need one more engineer, this time for the backend.

What you'll work on:

  • The APIs and services behind the app and website.
  • Real-time features, AI-powered conversations and background jobs.
  • Keeping things fast, reliable and secure as more people use Suman.
  • Handling sensitive data with the care it deserves.

Your code will be there for someone at 2am, when they have nobody else to talk to.

Few points:

  • Best suited for 0-3 years of experience, others may also apply.
  • You've built and shipped a real backend. A side project, internship or job all count.
  • We don't work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
  • Done in 2 hours? The day is yours. We never count working hours, just the output.
  • Async standups. Use any AI agent you like, just own the output. We never say "it broke because the AI did it."
  • Salary on the last working day of every month.

We'd love someone who fits that culture and can start within 2 months. Once you're in, our notice period is a humane 15 days, because life's too short for long goodbyes.
