Backend Engineer - Java

Location: Pune, 5 days/week

Experience: 3-5 Years

Joining: Immediate-15 days

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
  • Build and enhance web services, APIs, and web/mobile applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following development best practices.
  • Develop and maintain microservices-based applications.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
  • Integrate applications with databases, servers, network systems, and third-party APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in web application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring MVC, Node.js, and ORM frameworks.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful/SOAP APIs.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and caching technologies.
  • Familiarity with Angular, HTML5, CSS, and StencilJS.
  • Hands-on experience integrating and troubleshooting third-party APIs, preferably financial/verification APIs such as Perfios, IDfy, Karza, NSDL, RBIH, and JanSamarth.
  • Strong understanding of API authentication, request/response handling, error handling, and production issue resolution.
  • Experience with application performance tuning and optimization.
  • Proficiency in Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
