Role Description The Lead Product Manager (Solar Finance) will oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle for solar financing solutions, including rooftop solar loans and related offerings. This full-time, on-site role, based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, involves defining product strategy, conducting market and customer research, prioritizing features, and working closely with risk, operations, engineering, and sales teams to deliver scalable, customer-centric products. The role includes setting product roadmaps, refining pricing and credit policies, monitoring product performance, and driving continuous improvements based on data and customer feedback. The Lead Product Manager will also collaborate with partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to create innovative solar finance solutions that accelerate green adoption and align with Ecofy’s sustainability vision.

Qualifications

  • Strong product management skills, including product strategy, roadmap planning, requirements definition, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in financial services or retail lending; exposure to renewable energy, solar projects, or green finance is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency in market research, customer segmentation, data analysis, and performance tracking to inform product decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as credit, risk, operations, technology, and sales to launch and scale products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear product narratives.
  • Demonstrated leadership in guiding product teams, mentoring junior team members, and driving execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; a postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Comfort with working on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and engaging regularly with partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
