About the role :

We are looking for a versatile developer who combines full-stack software engineering skills with AI-assisted development, e-commerce development, and automation capabilities.

The candidate will contribute to client projects and internal technology initiatives, working across custom web applications, Shopify stores, WordPress websites, AI integrations, and automated workflows.

We value developers who use AI to build faster and solve problems more effectively, but who can also understand, debug, test, and maintain the code they produce.

Key responsibilities :

1. Full-stack development

  • Build and maintain web applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and REST APIs.
  • Develop backend logic, database schemas, authentication, and third-party integrations.
  • Debug, test, deploy, and maintain applications.2. Shopify development
  • Customize Shopify themes, storefronts, product pages, carts, and checkout-related integrations where supported.
  • Work with Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify APIs, and app integrations.
  • Implement storefront enhancements, product features, promotional elements, and e-commerce automations.3. WordPress development
  • Build and maintain WordPress websites using themes, plugins, and custom functionality.
  • Customize layouts and templates, and work with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as required.
  • Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, performance issues, responsive layouts, and integrations.
  • Understand basic website security, backups, and maintenance practices.4. AI-assisted software development
  • Use tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent AI coding assistants.
  • Leverage AI for code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
  • Review and validate AI-generated code before integrating it into production.5. AI engineering and integrations
  • Integrate LLM APIs from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • Build AI-powered features using prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool calling.
  • Explore RAG, embeddings, and AI agents when relevant to the use case.6. Automation development
  • Build automations connecting APIs, databases, AI models, and third-party platforms.
  • Work with webhooks, scheduled jobs, and tools such as n8n or Make.
  • Identify repetitive business processes that can be streamlined through software and AI.Good-to-have skills:
  • Shopify app development and familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem.
  • WooCommerce development and customization.
  • Python for scripts, AI integrations, and data processing.
  • Vector databases, RAG, embeddings, and AI agents.
  • Docker, cloud hosting, and CI/CD fundamentals.Candidate expectations:
  • At least 1 year of hands-on development experience.
  • Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving ability.
  • Practical familiarity with Shopify and WordPress, or demonstrable ability to work with both platforms.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants to build real applications.
  • Ability to independently handle smaller tasks and collaborate on larger projects.
  • A portfolio, GitHub repository, or deployed project demonstrating practical skills is preferred.
