About Zexovo and EduNage

Zexovo builds AI-powered software that simplifies business operations. EduNage is our school management platform, designed to help institutions streamline administration and support educators, students, and families.

EduNage’s AI capabilities include conflict-free timetable generation, analysis of attendance, homework and academic performance, and priority alerts that help educators identify students needing additional support.

About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Product Manager with practical experience in school ERP or school management software to help shape and improve EduNage.

You should understand how schools operate, how different departments use an ERP, and how information flows between administrators, teachers, students, and parents. You will translate those needs into clear product requirements and work closely with our product lead, designers, engineers, and QA team to deliver usable, reliable features.

This role combines product ownership, domain research, workflow design, documentation, and release validation. You should be comfortable taking a feature from identifying the problem through development, testing, launch, and improvement.

What You Will Do

  • Speak with school administrators, principals, teachers, and other stakeholders to understand their workflows, challenges, and priorities.
  • Translate school requirements into product requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories, and measurable acceptance criteria.
  • Map workflows across admissions, student records, attendance, fees, examinations, report cards, timetables, communication, and parent and student portals.
  • Define how modules connect, including dependencies, permissions, approval processes, notifications, and reporting requirements.
  • Work with the product lead to prioritize the backlog and plan releases based on user needs, business value, and engineering effort.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to make complex school processes simple and intuitive across web and mobile experiences.
  • Define requirements for AI features, including timetable generation, student performance reviews, attendance insights, and priority alerts.
  • Specify when AI-generated recommendations require educator review, how users can correct results, and how exceptions should be handled.
  • Document standard workflows and edge cases such as timetable conflicts, student transfers, academic-year transitions, fee adjustments, and corrections to attendance or marks.
  • Research competing school ERP platforms and identify meaningful opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with QA to create test scenarios, conduct user acceptance testing, and verify that delivered features meet requirements.
  • Support school onboarding, product demonstrations, feedback collection, and issue prioritization.
  • Track feature adoption, workflow completion, user feedback, and recurring support issues to guide improvements.Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in product management, with direct involvement in a school ERP, school management system, or education administration platform.
  • Practical understanding of school operations and the workflows used by administrators, academic coordinators, teachers, parents, and students.
  • Experience working on multiple school ERP modules and understanding how they interact.
  • Ability to independently create clear requirements, workflow diagrams, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, design, and QA teams throughout feature delivery.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to identify workflow gaps and edge cases.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with documentation and product tracking tools such as Notion, Google Docs, Jira, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
  • Availability for a full-time role during the stated working hours.Direct school ERP or school management software experience is required. Experience limited to online learning or course-content platforms does not, by itself, meet this requirement.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with school ERP implementation, onboarding, configuration, or data migration.
  • Familiarity with transport, library, hostel, inventory, staff management, or multi-campus workflows.
  • Experience with AI-powered features, workflow automation, or education analytics.
  • Understanding of role-based access, student data privacy, audit trails, and approval controls.
  • Familiarity with payment gateway integrations, messaging services, or attendance devices.
  • Experience using Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, or draw.io.
  • A portfolio demonstrating product documentation, workflow analysis, or features you helped deliver. What You Will Gain
  • Ownership of meaningful features in an AI-powered school management platform.
  • Direct collaboration with the founding team and product lead.
  • The opportunity to influence product priorities and improve real school workflows.
  • Experience building AI-assisted tools that reduce administrative effort and help educators make informed decisions.
  • Opportunities to grow your responsibilities as the product and team expand.
