Summary: NCR is looking for a highly talented Software Engineer for Cinema team. You will be responsible for design and development of scalable and high performing web/desktop applications and services using a deep understanding of the business logic of complex systems in Agile environment.

Details:

Primary responsibility is to ensure high quality software solutions as a contributing member of a highly motivated team of Engineers. This individual will serve as the full stack software engineer role on an Agile team. Tech stack: C#, Electron, ReactJS, HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript, Web Services, Azure & SQL.

Role is for a customer dedicated team with ambitious goals, we are looking for a motivated and skilled individual who:

• Analyse, design and develops high quality software which meets requirements, promote re-use of software components and facilitates ease of support, possess good understanding of design patterns
• Pro-actively identify and implement process, best practices and tools improvements to improve quality and performance
• Designs and documents products/systems or baseline processes
• Ability to drive issues to effective resolution and to find solutions to challenging, time-critical problems
• Exhibits very high personal commitment to quality, software engineering best practices, and protection of sensitive consumer information
• Have a strong desire for quality, and an attention to detail; determined to write high quality easy-to-maintain code
• Enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems in tight timeframes
• Stay current with technologies and to learn new technologies, processes, and trends
• Able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in Electron, ReactJS, Redux
• Experience in C#.Net and Multithreading
• Experience in SQL Server database design and creation of complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers and performance optimization
• Proficient in API and Web Service development

REQUIRED NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Strong interpersonal skills (communication with other team members and customers)
• Strong analytical skills
• Passion for technology, quality, and user experience
• Understanding of AGILE and SCRUM

OTHER BENEFICIAL SKILLS:

• Knowledge in BackboneJS, Delphi
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and Delivery practices
• Knowledge in Azure, Jenkins
• Knowledge of computer networking, TCP/IP Socket level communications
• Familiar with JIRA or similar issue management and tracking systems
• Knowledge of source control tools (TFS, Git)
