Staff Product Manager – Agentic Application Security Testing

Harness
Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Harness is the AI Software Delivery Platform company, led by technologist and entrepreneur Jyoti Bansal (founder of AppDynamics, acquired by Cisco for $3.7B). Harness has raised approximately $570M in funding and is valued at $5.5B, backed by leading investors including Goldman Sachs, Menlo Ventures, IVP, Unusual Ventures, Citi Ventures, and more. As AI accelerates code creation, the real bottleneck has shifted to everything after the code – testing, deployments, application security, reliability, compliance, and cost optimization. Harness brings AI and automation to this “outer loop,” helping teams ship software faster while maintaining security and governance throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle.

Powered by Harness AI and the Software Delivery Knowledge Graph, the Harness Platform applies deep context and intelligent automation across the software delivery lifecycle with governance and policy-driven controls embedded throughout the platform.

Over the past year, Harness powered over 185M deployments, 82M builds, 18T flag evaluations, 8M security scans, 9.1B optimized tests, 3T protected API calls, and helped manage $2.8B in cloud spend — enabling customers like United Airlines, Morningstar, and Choice Hotels to accelerate releases by up to 75%, reduce cloud costs by up to 60%, and achieve 10x DevOps efficiency.

With a global team across 26 offices and 27 countries, Harness is shaping the future of AI software delivery — and we’re looking for exceptional talent to help us move even faster.

About The Role

Harness is looking for a Staff Product Manager to define the future of Agentic Application Security. You will lead our Code Security and AI Security Agents portfolio, spanning static application security testing (SAST), AI-powered vulnerability triage, and autonomous remediation.

As AI coding agents transform how software is built, security must evolve beyond detecting vulnerabilities to autonomously investigating, validating, and fixing them at machine speed.

We are looking for a product leader who can help build autonomous security engineering systems that understand code, reason about security risks, generate secure fixes, and continuously validate outcomes across modern development environments.

What You'll Own

  • AI-Native Code Security: Own the strategy and roadmap for SAST, code analysis, reachability, exploitability, and AI-powered vulnerability discovery.
  • Autonomous Security Agents: Build intelligent triage and remediation agents that investigate findings, assess risk, generate fixes, and verify security outcomes.
  • Agentic Remediation Workflows: Drive autonomous repository analysis, multi-file code changes, dependency upgrades, test generation, regression validation, and pull request creation.
  • Agentic Developer Ecosystem: Integrate security into AI coding assistants, autonomous development agents, IDEs, SCM, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Next-Generation Security Testing: Explore LLM-driven security analysis, sandbox execution, exploit validation, and continuous security testing.
  • Product Strategy & Execution: Own product differentiation, customer engagement, roadmap execution, adoption, and business outcomes while partnering with engineering, security research, and go-to-market teams.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of product management experience in Application Security, AI Developer Tools, DevSecOps, or software engineering platforms.
  • Strong understanding of application security, SAST, vulnerability management, secure coding, and developer workflows.
  • Experience or strong technical familiarity with AI coding agents, LLM orchestration, tool calling, and autonomous software development.
  • Understanding of how agents reason over repositories, plan and execute tasks, modify code, run tests, and iteratively resolve failures.
  • Ability to translate advances in AI and software engineering into reliable, enterprise-grade products.
  • Proven experience driving product strategy, technical execution, customer adoption, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong technical judgment and ability to collaborate with engineering, security research, and executive stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building autonomous coding agents, AI-native developer tools, or application security products.
  • Knowledge of code property graphs, dataflow analysis, reachability, exploitability, and software composition analysis.
  • Familiarity with multi-agent architectures, MCP, sandbox environments, agent memory, and feedback-driven execution.
  • Experience with automated vulnerability remediation, secure code generation, and verification workflows.
  • Background in software engineering, security engineering, or AI/ML.

Why Join Harness?

Help define the next generation of application security, where intelligent agents don't just identify vulnerabilities but autonomously investigate, remediate, and verify them.

At Harness, you'll work at the intersection of AI, application security, and software engineering to build security products designed for a world where humans and AI agents develop software together.

What You Will Have At Harness

  • Competitive salary
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Flexible Time Off and Parental Leave
  • Quarterly Harness TGIF-Off / 4 days
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual social and team-building events
  • Recharge & Reset Program
  • Monthly internet reimbursement
