Description
- Product & Technical Leadership
- Ensure technical product requirements are understood and addressed.
- Develop product/configuration options that allow the PLCT to evaluate engineering trade-offs.
- Drive detailed engineering-solution decomposition for the configuration approved by PLCT.
- Ensure the resulting engineering solution meets the Product Requirements Document (PRD).
- Requirements Ownership
- Lead the product-level requirements-analysis process and work across functional teams on product requirements.
- Act as a key interface between Marketing/product requirements and engineering functions.
- Drive PRD requirements into the functional organizations for analysis and execution. Internal system-engineering process documentation identifies the PDT Lead as the primary owner for System Requirement Analysis.
- Cross-Functional Engineering Execution
- Coordinate functional-team members to drive execution against the committed schedule.
- Bring together the relevant engineering disciplines required to deliver the product.
- Drive alignment across the PDT when an engineering decision affects multiple functions.
