What team will you be on
The Preqin Enterprise Data Solutions team is responsible for delivering high-quality private markets data to enterprise clients through APIs, data feeds, integrations with enterprise data and analytics platforms, including cloud-based data warehousing solutions, and end-user tools. The team plays a critical role in enabling clients to seamlessly access, integrate, and derive value from one of the industry's leading private markets datasets.
Why is your role important?
As a Software Engineer within the Preqin Enterprise Data Solutions team, you will join an engineering pod responsible for building and evolving the systems that power enterprise data delivery. You will help design, develop, and support scalable platforms that distribute data to clients, integrate with strategic data platforms, and enable new product capabilities. Working closely with engineers, product managers, and data owners, you will contribute to the team's technical direction while delivering solutions that support both client needs and business growth.
What Will You Be Doing
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable systems that support enterprise data distribution and third-party integrations
- Develop and enhance APIs, data delivery services, and platform capabilities that enable clients to consume private markets data efficiently
- Partner with product managers, data owners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Collaborate across engineering teams to promote best practices, improve development standards, and share technical knowledge
- Contribute to architectural decisions, data modelling discussions, and technical strategy to ensure platforms remain scalable and adaptable
- Support the reliability, observability and continuous improvement of enterprise data delivery services and operational processes
What Are We Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong software engineering experience using technologies such as C#, Python, modern web frameworks, and data platforms including PostgreSQL
- Experience working with enterprise data warehousing and analytics platforms, including Snowflake or similar technologies
- Experience working with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation practices
- Experience developing and deploying applications across modern software delivery environments; experience building end-user tooling and integrations is advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and ways of working

Our hybrid work model
