Role Description The Software Engineer role at Seceon Inc. is a full-time remote position with 22+ openings available. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and core platform components that power Seceon’s unified cybersecurity solutions. Software Engineers will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure reliability and scalability of distributed systems. The role involves writing clean, efficient, and testable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to architectural decisions. Engineers will also troubleshoot issues, improve existing functionalities, and help integrate AI/ML-driven capabilities into the platform while following secure development best practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Go).
  • Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, building APIs, microservices, and working with databases.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and application in large-scale systems.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity domains or interest in security-focused engineering is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, containers, or orchestration tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
