Hiring | Principal Manager / Associate Director – Program Management (GAI Tech)

📍 Location: Hyderabad / Bengaluru

We are hiring an experienced professional to lead the Generative AI (GAI) program and product management function in India for a leading global investment and technology development firm.

The role involves driving the implementation and adoption of Generative AI solutions, enhancing developer productivity and operational efficiency, and partnering with diverse technical teams to deliver key AI-driven initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead program and product management initiatives for the GAI Tech India team, combining people management with individual contributor responsibilities.
  • Oversee user-facing projects across multiple teams, including prioritization, execution, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Partner with the Talent Development team to drive GAI learning initiatives, employee upskilling, and awareness of AI tools.
  • Define product vision, gather and prioritize product and feature requirements, and collaborate with relevant teams to drive implementation.
  • Support the development and integration of Generative AI tools, infrastructure, and applications across the organization.

Key Requirements:

  • 8–12 years of total experience, including 5–8 years in technical program management and at least 2 years in software development.
  • At least 1 year of experience working on Generative AI projects and products.
  • Strong program management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Prior people management or mentorship experience.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with a strong academic background.

Preferred: Product management experience with Generative AI products and relevant qualifications in program management, such as an MBA or PMP.
