We are building a platform that creates specialized AI Agents for tax, corporate law, M&A, due diligence, compliance, and consulting workflows.

Role OverviewWe are looking for a strong Senior Gen AI Engineer to build and scale the technology behind VIDUR's AI-powered professional platform.

You will work on advanced AI systems involving LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI Agents, backend architecture, and scalable solutions for tax, legal, consulting, M&A, and enterprise workflows.

You will collaborate closely with founders, AI architects, product managers, and engineering teams to convert complex professional problems into reliable AI solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesAI Development

  • Build scalable backend systems powering AI applications.
  • Develop APIs and services integrating LLMs and AI workflows.
  • Design and optimise RAG-based systems.
  • Build AI Agent workflows for professional use cases.Gen AI Engineering
  • Work with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Experiment with model improvements and AI optimisation.
  • Build reliable AI solutions with a focus on accuracy and performance.Product Collaboration
  • Work closely with product teams to understand business requirements.
  • Convert product ideas into technical solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and engineering decisions.

Required SkillsMust-Have Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Python and strong fundamentals of System Design (API design, async processing, caching, databases, scalability).
  • Deep understanding of GenAI and Agentic AI products: LLM internals, prompt engineering, function/tool calling, memory, planning, multi-agent collaboration, and evaluation.
  • Proven experience with RAG: embeddings, chunking strategies, vector databases, hybrid search, re-rankers (Cohere/Cross-encoders), and grounding.
  • Hands-on experience with agent frameworks: LangGraph (must), plus at least one of CrewAI / AutoGen / LangChain Agents.
  • Experience implementing Guardrails: NeMo Guardrails, Guardrails AI, Llama Guard, input/output validation, policy enforcement, jailbreak prevention, and PII handling.
  • Experience with Observability & LLM Ops: Langfuse, LangSmith, Helicone, W&B for tracing, logging, evaluations, prompt management, and cost/latency tracking.
  • Backend experience with FastAPI / Django / Flask, REST/gRPC, Postgres/Redis, queues (Celery/Kafka), and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes.Strong Plus (DL/ML as Plus)
  • Deep Learning & ML experience: PyTorch/TensorFlow, Transformers, fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA), training/inference optimisation, and traditional ML for classification/ranking.
  • Experience with LLM fine-tuning, distillation, or building custom evaluators for domain accuracy.
  • Experience building for enterprise B2B: SOC2 considerations, multi-tenancy, role-based access, and audit logs.
  • Exposure to tax, legal, or compliance domains or building AI for professional services.
