What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an ERPNext Functional Expert & Implementation Specialist with 4–6 years of relevant experience to bridge the gap between our business operations and the technical development team. We are specifically looking for someone with a deep background in the manufacturing industry (especially high-volume manufacturing) who can analyze our shop-floor processes, design robust workflows, and translate those needs into clear, actionable Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).

This is a full-time leadership position for a strategic thinker who understands how a manufacturing business runs and knows how to map those operations flawlessly into ERPNext.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis & PRD Creation: Deeply understand our high-volume manufacturing operations, gather requirements from stakeholders, and write detailed, comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for the development team to execute.
  • Workflow & SOP Management: Design, map, and optimize end-to-end business workflows. Develop, document, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments (production, inventory, procurement, etc.) to ensure seamless ERP adoption.
  • Functional Solution Design: Act as the architect for how ERPNext modules should be structured to solve our specific business challenges, ensuring standard out-of-the-box features are utilized effectively before requesting custom development.
  • Developer Liaison & Technical Product Management: Act as the core bridge between the business stakeholders and the software developers. Prioritize the development backlog, explain business logic to coders, and guide the technical team on what needs to be built and why.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the modules developed by the technical team perfectly match the PRDs and business requirements.
  • ERPNext Configuration: Handle the functional configuration and master data setup within ERPNext (e.g., BOMs, Workstations, Routing, Item Groups, Chart of Accounts).
  • User Training & Support: Create training materials and provide hands-on guidance to shop-floor staff and management on how to follow the newly established ERP workflows and SOPs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with production, supply chain, and management teams to ensure the ERP system accurately reflects real-world manufacturing constraints and goals.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in ERPNext functional consulting, business analysis, or technical product management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven, extensive background in the manufacturing industry, with specific experience handling the complexities of high-volume manufacturing (production planning, inventory bottlenecks, supply chain logistics).
  • Product Management Skills: Exceptional ability to write clear, structured PRDs, Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories.
  • Functional Expertise: Deep understanding of standard ERPNext modules (Manufacturing, Buying, Selling, Stock, Accounting) and how they interact with one another.
  • Process Mapping: Strong capability in designing business workflows, process flowcharts, and implementing SOPs.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to foresee business edge-cases and incorporate them into system designs.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Must be able to speak the language of both business operators and technical developers.
  • Execution-Oriented: A hands-on, structured approach to managing product timelines and ensuring development matches business goals.

Added Advantage (Nice to Have)

  • AI for Productivity & Coding: Ability to use AI coding assistants (such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar tools) to generate code snippets, prototype modules, or accelerate the development team's execution is a major plus.

What We Value

We value people who build trust through integrity, earn loyalty through consistency, and take ownership with a bias for action. Someone who is curious, patient, adaptable, and eager to learn, works as a team player, uses technology intelligently, and has the stability and genuine intent to grow with the organization.
