About Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Node.js Developer to design, develop, and support scalable, high-performance backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, AWS cloud services, SQL databases, and cloud-native architectures. The role involves building enterprise-grade applications, designing event-driven solutions, supporting production environments, and driving technical excellence across the development lifecycle. The candidate will collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, DevOps teams, and developers to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration services.
  • Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services and serverless architectures.
  • Design and implement event-driven solutions using modern cloud patterns.
  • Work with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and related AWS services to deliver scalable applications.
  • Design and optimize database solutions using SQL Server and related database technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Integrate third-party applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
  • Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Monitor application health and support operational excellence initiatives.
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and operational procedures.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across development, deployment, and support functions.

Expertise You'll Bring

  • 9?11 years of experience in software development and backend application development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Experience developing enterprise-grade APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Experience building serverless and cloud-native applications.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server database development and administration.
  • Strong SQL programming, query optimization, and database performance tuning skills.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing models.
  • Knowledge of API security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting business-critical applications.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
  • Experience working with source control and collaborative development workflows.
  • Exposure to Magic XPA or low-code/no-code application platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in Agile and cross-functional delivery environments.
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives from design through production deployment.
