Technical Lead

You will be responsible for building and scaling a secure, reliable, multi-tenant platform across web, mobile, backend, and cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on real-time tracking, location-based services, and safety-critical features.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end system architecture and technical decisions.

• Lead, mentor, and support engineers while contributing to production code.

• Build real-time features such as GPS tracking, geofencing, OTP-based boarding, SOS alerts, and notifications.

• Design scalable multi-tenant systems with strong data security and isolation.

• Oversee cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, deployments, monitoring, and production reliability.

• Drive code quality, system performance, security, testing, and engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Required Technical Skills

• Backend: TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS/Fastify, REST APIs, WebSockets, Redis/BullMQ.

• Frontend: React and Next.js.

• Mobile: React Native for iOS and Android.

• Python: FastAPI, PySpark, or equivalent tools.

• Databases: MySQL/PostgreSQL, query optimisation, PostGIS, and geospatial systems.

• Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and GitOps.

• Architecture: Distributed systems, multi-tenant architecture, API design, scalability, and security.

• Leadership: Team management, code reviews, mentoring, system design, and Agile delivery.

Experience We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years of engineering leadership.

• Strong hands-on coding and end-to-end product development experience.

• Experience with real-time, location-based products such as ride-hailing, fleet management, logistics, or mobility platforms.

• A strong understanding of production systems, data security, and system reliability.
