We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, backend architecture, API development, and cloud-native applications. You will play a key role in building robust systems, driving technical excellence, and contributing to the overall product and engineering strategy.

This role requires someone who can balance hands-on development with architectural thinking while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Data teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Python
Build and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices
Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Design and implement secure, reliable, and high-performance application architectures
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation initiatives, and DevOps practices
Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives
Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to engineering practicesRequired Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Python software development
Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming principles
Experience with backend frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Flask, or similar technologies
Strong experience in designing and developing REST APIs and microservices
Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong understanding of software design patterns, system design, and scalable architectures
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
