Product Manager -DPDP
The ideal candidate is an analytical team player who will be responsible for leading a team of high performing individuals who own the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Own the DPDP program P&L, revenue targets, and the product roadmap from launch through the May 13, 2027 deadline and beyond.
- Set the ideal customer profile and adjust it as deals come in, starting with mid-market healthcare, then financial services, SaaS developers, and non-Indian companies serving India.
- Chair the weekly practice review and the monthly pipeline, delivery, margin, and risk review.
- Get leadership decisions on budget, pricing, cadence, and capacity ahead of the April to May 2027 demand peak.
Product set and pricing
Design and price the go-to-market product set, starting with the current offer ladder: one-day paid workshop, Readiness Check, Gap Assessment, implementation program, sector editions, and managed compliance.
- Add, adapt, or retire offers based on win rates, margin, and client demand.
- Write one-page scopes, the standard proposal, and the statement of work with the subject matter expert.
- Set discount rules for partners and early clients, and track win rates and margin by offer. Marketing and education
- Own the marketing calendar and the 30-60-90 day plan, and lead the marketing team that executes it.
- Run the webinar series (overview, healthcare, financial services, SaaS developers, companies outside India) at roughly 90% education and 10% offer.
- Lead the LinkedIn explainer series, newsletter, landing page, search content, and gated sector guides.
- Plan in-person events and half-day workshops in two to three Indian cities, starting with Bengaluru.
- Run a US education track for privacy counsel, CISOs, and heads of India operations at US companies.
- Keep Consltek's own marketing compliant: consent capture per purpose on every form, list, and CRM record.
Sales and pipeline
- Host webinars, speak at industry events, and lead executive discovery calls across India.
- Lead the business development representative and convert discovery calls into workshops, Readiness Checks into Gap Assessments, and assessments into implementation proposals within five working days.
- Own the CRM pipeline, forecast, and monthly metrics report.
Partners and channels
- Build referral partnerships with Indian law firms, chartered accountant firms, and industry bodies such as NASSCOM, DSCI, CII, and FICCI.
- Select and manage GRC and consent platform partners, with an MSP revenue-share program as a firm requirement.
- Co-market with partners, including law-firm webinars for US-based clients and healthcare webinars with software partners.
Quality and client success
- Make sure every client-facing claim passes subject matter expert review and Indian counsel review before first release.
- Capture one client example per sector for guides, the website, and sales.
- Track client outcomes and renewals, and grow managed-compliance revenue after go-live.
What you bring
- 8 or more years in product management, product marketing, or practice leadership, including at least 3 years taking a B2B service or software offering from launch to revenue.
- A track record of building a new line of business: defining offers, setting prices, and hitting revenue targets.
