About The Role
As a Project Manager - Product Owner, you will serve as the Product Owner for Google Cloud Platform application development engagements. We will count on you to lead consultative discovery, backlog management, Agile delivery, project planning, and client engagement to turn business ideas into high-value software applications. Along the way, you will get to:
- Plan and lead client discovery workshops and user research to identify business needs, map user journeys, and define MVP scope.
- Own and refine the product backlog, including user stories, acceptance criteria, priorities, risks, dependencies, and delivery documentation.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and collaborate with UX, engineering, cloud architecture, and PMO teams to plan and deliver outcomes.
- Manage scope, schedule, milestones, resources, budget, change requests, client communications, and project health across assigned engagements.

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years in client-facing IT consulting or professional services, including 3+ years leading discovery, backlog definition, and Agile delivery for custom software builds.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous business requests into actionable software requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, estimates, and SOW-aligned plans.
- Strong client-facing communication and experience working with UX or design teams, usability and accessibility standards, and Google product or cloud ecosystems.
- Hands-on proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet; relevant project, Product Owner, Scrum, SAFe, GCP, or public-cloud certifications are useful.
