Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RESTful API development, and database management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable web applications while ensuring high performance, security, and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Build, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Apply MVC architecture, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
• Design and optimize databases using PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Develop and maintain frontend components using JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Integrate payment gateways, authentication systems, and external APIs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance and reliability.
• Follow secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, and maintain code quality.
• Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies for software delivery.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, along with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices where applicable.Required Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.
• Good understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, database design, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, application security, and performance-tuning skills.Preferred Skills
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with payment gateway integrations and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience supporting scalable, high-availability applications.
