ROLE OVERVIEW

ARQÉ BY ARCHEE is looking for a skilled and reliable Shopify developer to maintain and continuously improve our existing e-commerce website. You will be our dedicated point of contact for all website-related requirements. That means keeping the site clean, fast, and on-brand, and adding new features as the brand grows. We are looking for ongoing technical support, not one-time development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Website maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Identify and fix bugs, broken links, missing images, and layout issues.
  • Keep the website working smoothly on desktop and mobile.
  • Monitor site speed and performance, and run regular website checks.
  • Maintain backups, app updates, and security. Test every change before it goes live.

Layout, design and content updates

  • Maintain and update layouts, sections, fonts, colours, banners, and pages in line with ARQÉ’s luxury aesthetic.
  • Upload and update photos, videos, and promotional banners as shared by the team.
  • Create and update collection pages, product pages, and landing pages for new launches.
  • Update product details, descriptions, images, pricing, and availability.

New features and e-commerce functionality

  • Add new features and functionality to the site as Shopify and the brand’s needs evolve, after discussing them with the founder.
  • Maintain and improve ARQÉ’s enquiry flows, including Book Your Appointment, Custom Order, Request Pricing, and WhatsApp integration.
  • Resolve issues with the cart, checkout, payments, and international shipping.
  • Handle Shopify apps and integrations. Coordination and reporting.
  • Be available for scheduled video calls and give timely updates on requested changes.
  • Coordinate with the Social Media team for website and campaign assets.
  • Handle basic technical SEO and share a monthly summary of changes made, issues fixed, and site performance.
  • Document key website settings and processes for future reference.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Shopify (themes, Shopify Admin, collections, apps, and checkout), with live stores to show.
  • Proven experience in website development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS. Shopify Liquid and basic JavaScript are an advantage.
  • Good design sense, ideally with experience on luxury, fashion, lifestyle, or home décor websites.
  • Ability to make both technical fixes and visual design changes.
  • Clear, responsive communication and the ability to deliver within agreed timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.

ENGAGEMENT

We are looking for a long-term professional who is available for regular updates, occasional design changes, troubleshooting, and urgent fixes.
