Sr Program Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing complex, large-scale programs involving multiple projects, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders. The role focuses on strategic planning, program governance, delivery excellence, risk management, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful execution of business and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive program outcomes within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale programs involving multiple projects and workstreams.
• Define program objectives, scope, milestones, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business goals.
• Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, reporting structures, steering committee reviews, and escalation mechanisms.
• Manage program budgets, resource allocation, capacity planning, dependencies, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, business stakeholders, technology teams, project managers, and external vendors to ensure program alignment.
• Monitor program performance using KPIs, dashboards, status reports, and milestone tracking.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and potential delivery bottlenecks.
• Drive effective communication and coordination across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical issues affecting program delivery.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates to senior management on program progress, risks, financials, and business outcomes.
• Drive process improvements, change management initiatives, and delivery optimization across program workstreams.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, quality standards, contractual commitments, and applicable governance processes.
• Mentor project managers and delivery teams, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate program outcomes against defined business objectives and implement corrective actions wherever required.Role Requirements & Qualification:
• 12+ years of overall professional experience, with significant experience in program management and project delivery.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects, complex programs, and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
• Strong expertise in program planning, governance, budgeting, resource management, risk management, and delivery oversight.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders, executive leadership, and steering committee communications.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in program and project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage timelines, dependencies, priorities, and competing business requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and deliver measurable business outcomes.Good to Have:
• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant program/project management certifications.
• Experience in IT services, consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise technology programs.
• Exposure to cloud transformation, data and analytics, enterprise applications, or large-scale technology implementations.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, commercial commitments, and program financials.
• Knowledge of PMO practices, portfolio management, and program-level performance reporting.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and geographically distributed teams.
• Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks, change management, and continuous improvement practices
